Rocky Mountain National Park is located about 64 miles NW of Denver in North-Central Colorado. The park has 414 sq. miles of beautiful scenery including 156 named lakes and 78 mountain peaks over 12,000 feet. Longs Peak is the highest peak in the park reaching an elevation of 14,259 feet. Trail Ridge Road connects the east and west sides of the park which is the highest continuous highway in the U.S. topping out at 12,183 feet.
