Grand Canyon National Park is located in northwest Arizona. It is 277 miles long, 18 miles wide, and at its deepest point, is 6000 feet which is more than a mile. The Grand Canyon is a place unlike anywhere else in the world. It's size and breathtaking views are unparalleled. The park can be enjoyed in many different ways: by foot, air, river, mule, or train. The hikes and mule rides range from short and easy to rigorous multi-day trips. To see the canyon in its fullest a helicopter or airplane tour can be taken or at the bottom of the canyon you can take a rafting trip down the Colorado River.
